Biography:
Jen joined Karingal Veterinary Hospital in November 2006. It was her first job out of university and she hasn’t left since! She worked down at our Ballam Park Vet Clinic between 2011 and 2020 when it closed. Jen is particularly interested in the management of arthritis and the senior patient, post-orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation and acupuncture. Her pets include a crazy 11 year old Australian Shepherd Kira and a 6 year old Golden Retriever Leo. Kira has had bilateral TTA surgery on her cruciate ligaments and Leo has bilateral elbow dysplasia. On the weekends Jen enjoys taking her son Josh to his basketball, soccer or football games. The Paterson family which includes husband Grant, son Josh and daughter Charlotte also have fun going to the skate park. Jen loves to horse ride as often as possible and is the co-owner if a big beautiful high-country horse called Blazer. She is also a part of the Toorak College Collegians Big Band in where she plays the trumpet.
