Dr Ben Roney graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science (Zoology) and then a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from James Cook University, Townsville. He is Frankston born and bred so it was no surprise when he joined the team at Karingal Veterinary Hospital!
His veterinary interests are all types of surgery and diagnostic imaging such as radiology and ultrasonography.
Ben follows Carlton in the AFL and he is known to get out in the surf to catch a few waves on his days off. In addition he likes bush walking and listening to music. With the purchase of a new house recently he is also becoming quite a handyman as he renovates the property.
Skydiving, travelling through Europe and becoming fluent in a second language are all on his list of things to do.
Ben is a sucker for “sausage dogs” and owns two Miniature Dachshunds named Lucy and Frankie.
